We saw many turtles swimming near the boat, and even a mana ray breach the surface. Know what to expect before staying on board. 'If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas...

'The house has a great atmosphere as a vintage houseboat with the wood finish and decks off every room. The weather was poor during our stay so our ocean activity was limited, but swimming in the tidal creek was always fine. Gabrielle is a great host, responding to our requests quickly, with extensive local knowledge and contacts. She and Peter even found and gave us extra diving gear we had left at home. '

'Mathieu and Mark were exceptional hosts for our two nights on N’Ami!! Mathieu met us in Georgetown and ferried us out to the boat which was nestled in a quiet cove just beyond the Chat n Chill and the Snappy Turtle. The boat was just as described, extremely clean and had all we needed for our stay for two adults. After viewing the sunrise from the boat, we used the dinghy to have breakfast at the Snappy Turtle and spent afternoons at Chat n Chill and Coconut Club. Mathieu checked in with us...
