'Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming.'

'Am Besten war die Terrasse, wo wir jeden Tag frühstückten und zu Abend aßen. Wir waren umgeben von einem verwilderten Garten, in dem viele Bananen und andere Früchte wuchsen, leider alle unreif. Das Nachbargrundstück ist noch ein Feld, aber man sieht schon Pläne, dass dort typische enge geschichstlose Ferienhäuser gebaut werden sollen. Es gibt viele für das Land typische Geräusche wie Hähne, Hunde und Kühe und Tiere unter dem Dach, was uns nicht störte. Der etwas modrige Geruch war schon eher...

'We were not psychologically prepared for such a tight parking spot as there was a large vehicle beside us. The stay was large and comfy and the kitchen was very essential part of the convenience and freedom. Perhaps it’s the cultural difference as the elevator went to nowhere in between floors. Apartment B has no blackout curtains. We didn’t find the broom until the last day of stay. Laundry and deck allowed for wash and dry of laundry. '

'Un magnifique séjour à Furnas. Un appartement très cosy avec tout ce qu'il faut, très bien situé, des places de parking sur la rue et surtout une propriétaire aux petits soins pour ses clients, très réactive et disponible. Nous aurions voulu encore rester. Tout est accessible a pied et un supermarché juste à côté. '

'We really enjoyed our stay, and the view of the apartment and the host was super helpful and responsive with several questions we had along the way. The only reason for a 4 rating was the floor wasn't super clean (the rest was) and it was a particularly hot week late July/early August and we found the apartment very hot and hard to cool down, even with fans. We would recommend staying here!'

'The apartment was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom is nice and big and has a bidet. It also had a washing machine which was nice! You could walk to the restaurants and to the grocery store. The street noise is very loud and you have to keep the windows open because it is very warm inside. 'I had booked this rental months before our stay. When I communicated with the host ,Marceilia, she was quick to reply. She also shared many recommendations for restaurants, sites, and museums with us. Check in and check out was easy. 'The location of the flat was ideal for exploring the island. Pingo Doce, a very large supermarket, was a two minute drive. Mariana was very responsive and helpful. She was very kind and had many suggestions to help make our vacation a spectacular experience. There are many excellent restaurants on the island but having the ability to cook and enjoy our meals on the very spacious balcony made the vacation extra special. 'Appartement netjes en goed gelegen in de stad. Is niet heel ruim, maar voor paar dagen prima. Weinig kledinghangers. Handdoeken wisselen wat aan de zuinige kant (1 x wisselen in 5 dgn) Parkeren helaas niet op eigen terrein, maar wel in de buurt. Rumoer honden in de avond en hanen in de ochtend. Naastgelegen bar gaf op vrijdag wat herrie, maar verder geen last van gehad. Gelegen aan heel smal straatje.'

'Apartment was in a great location and the check in process was easy. The apartment was a bit tighter than expected with little area to spread out your suitcases. There was quite a bit of mold on the shower/tub. Over-all was a great stay.'
