"This hotel and particularly its staff gave us one of our best experiences ever. It started with a warm, friendly yet professional welcome (Maria). The room was comfortable and clean. At night we wanted to have dinner at the the adjacent Japanese restaurant Haibu but there was a wine and sushi fest going on which we could join and we had a great time there: HQ sushi and delicious wines (especially those from Atlantico, produced at Pico island). The hotel owner (Fernando) welcomed us and we had a very pleasant conversation on island life, the history of the building and shared ideas on society, culture, creativity and entrepreneurship. In the morning, the guy from the night shift (Rodrigo) checked us out and brought us good coffee and a breakfast box to go, since the buffet had not yet opened. The splendid service and personal approach makes this hotel very special. We will definitely come back here and yes, for a longer stay. Wonderful!"

"De ontvangst bij de receptie was slecht. We kregen ook een van de minste kamers, zonder terras. Zwembad moeilijk te vinden en lastig bereikbaar. Tuinen zijn prachtig, maar als je slecht ter been bent erg lastig. Het diner was goed. "
