Unfortunately our toilet didn’t refill automatically and had to be filled using the kettle otherwise the water pump went on and off constantly. Also our complimentary breakfast was awful. 'Hillview House is a unique old guesthouse, rooms are a good size, comfortable and nicely decorated with ensuite bathroom, views of the hills & city.Well maintained , pretty breakfast room with continental breakfast provisions.A pleasure to stay in such an old but sturdy historical building.Glad the old fireplaces were kept , even in bedrooms, as a feature but not used.'

'This exceeded all expectations. I was concerned upon booking that the actual experience and rooms might be overhyped or a bit silly, but everything was just incredible. One of my best stays in Australia by far. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You were receiving 5 star treatment throughout.
