I was extremely disappointed in my 2 night stay. The first morning i was taking a friend to hospital. We got down at 6.15am for breakfast. No coffee. No decaf. No eggs. No one available fixing more. No one at reception. When I returned at 2.30 pm and complained i was told no one else had complained about this. However, I met another guest who had repeatedly lodged complaints. This happens consistently in the early mornings as large groups of workers line up before breakfast to fill their thermoses. I definitely dislike being lied to by staff. This sends a clear message that guest concerns are not taken seriously.
In addition, your website states there is daily linen service. A small posted sign in the restroom states this happens every 3 days. More false advertising.
The same large group of workers were also extremely loud and drinking and having a tailgate party in the parking lot creating an unsafe environment for single female guests. One of the above would have caused a less than satisfactory stay. All taken together makes me loathe to stay at another Hawthorn Suite...certainly not this one in Pflugerville.
