'The property is a beautiful old house in a delightful historic village. The owner has decorated it with taste and style and everything is of the finest quality. The owner also goes to a lot of trouble to make your stay comfortable, providing breakfast early for us before we headed to the airport and phoning the village pub to see if they had a table before our arrival. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - 10 out of 10 is just not enough!'

'Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. '

'The property is lovely this includes the grounds and the cottages. The service was not great. We had to call to inquire about breakfast no one let us know how this worked. We arrived to wait for about 15 minutes with the only two other guests at the hotel to have a sixteen year old boy wait on us. He didn’t know how to make coffee said he doesn’t drink it. Apparently he was left to his own devices at the house, we went into the kitchen twice looking for him to bring additional items. We were...

'Our stay was so quiet and relaxing! The service was excellent and breakfast was fabulous! Lots of places to go close by or you can just stay at the farm and relax. '
