Family holiday in Mudgee
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home, and it exceeded all expectations. The amazing setting, with stunning views of the mountains, provided a serene and picturesque backdrop for our holiday. The home itself is beautifully furnished, offering a perfect blend of style and comfort. It was very spacious and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat.Our host, Annie was super helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Communication was a breeze, and she was always available to assist with anything we needed.The location is central to many attractions, including wineries and national parks, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. I highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Thanks again Annie for such a memorable and enjoyable stay at Aroonalea!

Our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aroonalea. The property was more beautiful in person and suited our annual girls trip perfectly. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, the location is the perfect distance from town and the kitchen had everything you need to cook for 12 or more people. Annie was wonderful to deal with also, very friendly. I highly recommend this property.

comfortable home everything you need to relax beautiful rural views peace and quiet lovely pool gardens full of roses plenty of space games for kids full equipped large kitchen plenty of bedding options-pillows/ doona /rugs ducted aircon luxury towels and shampoos etc loved the huge lazy susan in middle of dining table double door fridges -so useful only improvement id suggest is a upgrade of mattresses and/or toppers as beds too firm for me stylish decor easy check in process and clear and accurate communication with host would recommend property and host Anne hope to visit again

Perfect property with 7 bedrooms for a group of 7 ladies! Fabulous long weekend - lots of relaxing, swimming, wine tasting, playing finska on the gorgeous lawn, cooking and eating. Just amazing and already chosen a weekend to return next year!

Milestone in Mudgee
Our family was visiting Mudgee for a birthday milestone and we absolutely loved Aroonalea! The location, property features, homestead and facilities were second to none. Annie was such a responsive host and her attention to detail meant that nothing was overlooked to make our stay so enjoyable. The outlook was beautiful and the home design, including four bathrooms, easily accommodated our large family. We were also impressed by the duplicate appliances, large dining areas and numerous games which made entertaining our large group so much easier. We highly recommend Annie and her property to those that want to experience a truly memorable getaway. Hopefully, we'll be back there again soon!

The perfect environment
Annie's home was the perfect environment to facilitate our work retreat. Everything about it exceeded expectations and the attention to detail was second to none. Not only did we receive a great experience over the weekend, but the communication with Annie and her assistance in planning our retreat was incredible. Fantastic place for large group getaway

Sensational!!!!
Perfect accommodation for a large group of family or friends. The house is extremely well equipped with anything you could possibly need and is situated on a beautiful property 10 mins from Mudgee with stunning views. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit toasting marshmallows. Annie the host was fantastic, extremely helpful, very welcoming and nothing was a problem. Magical Stay
We cannot express how much we loved our weekend at AroonaLea. From the moment Annie got in touch she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The house is incredible and every little detail thought of. So much effort has gone in to create a beautiful and welcoming home. Loads of space to find a quiet spot or enough room to all be together. We laughed, we crafted, we ate and we didn't want to leave! We'll be back in the summer to enjoy the pool and the river. Thank you Annie!

Wonderful property
We shared this property between 3 families and it was perfect. Close enough to Mudgee but far enough away to feel like a real country holiday. We spent most afternoons down by the river at the bottom of the property watching the kids try to catch a fish , very relaxing. The house itself has everything needed and couldn’t recommend it highly enough for a large family or group of friends. Thanks to our host Annie for a great Easter weekend

Mudgee girls weekend
We were in town for my 40th birthday celebrations and Annie’s place was the perfect base for our group of 16! The grounds are stunning.. we made good use of the pool and explored down by the river (didn’t see the elusive platypus though!). The house was very well equipped, every detail had been thought of, and all of the rooms were beautiful. The living spaces (kitchen, dining and lounge) easily accommodated all of us, we were able to enjoy sit down meals together. Annie was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful with local recommendations and even left me a little birthday gift from a local supplier. It was unexpected but very thoughtful. Thank you! We’ll be back for sure… there were calls to make it any annual event!

Amazing accomodation
If you are still pondering on booking Annie’s property, stop and book now! This place exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do the place justice. We stayed with our extended family and the place was perfect with so many rooms and lots of space for activities. Great views and a pool to keep the kids occupied and happy. The property is also well stocked, whatever you need you will find it there. Close to main shops, eateries and lots of wineries to choose from. Annie was a great host and easy to communicate with. Thank you for such a great stay. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Tremendous property
We were 3 families each with 2 daughters who wanted a nice spacious home for a holiday and we certainly found it here. A very well appointed house ( loved the toast tongs and the picnic boxes). Great place - highly recommend it. And Mudgee is a big surprise- heaps of wineries and nice shops and antique stores.
