Situated in the beautiful fishing village of St Monans. Martha’s Harbour offers peace and tranquility in an upgraded and modernized early 19th century fisherman’s cottage. On the Fife coastal path and 2 minutes away from the harbour, the cottage is perfectly situated for a holiday break where relaxation, walking or sightseeing is key.
The property is furnished to a high standard and sleeps 4 people. We also pride ourselves in cleanliness and have a great team who help us achieve a very high standard every time.
Martha’s Harbour consists of: Entrance hallway, shower room, kitchen, living/dining-room and two bedrooms. The shower room consists of, shower with electric Mira shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen includes fridge, double oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and washing machine, plus all crockery, glass-wear, pots, pans and cutlery.
The living room has bi-fold doors that open out fully to the paved garden area with its wonderful views of The Firth of Forth and the old St. Monans Kirk. Comfortably furnished with a Smart TV. The dining table is also in the living area and there are 4 dining chairs. Really good free Wi-Fi.
The downstairs, double bedroom features a super king bed, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
The upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds and a velux window offering incredible views over the old Kirk rooftop toward Elie.
Both bedrooms have luxurious bedding and electric blankets for cozy winter nights.
The cottage has a gas central heating system and constant hot water.
Ideally located for access to all that the East Neuk has to offer, from water-sports to historical villages and towns just a short drive away. St. Monans is also at the heart of the fine dining experiences this part of Fife has to offer with a host of excellent restaurants literally on the doorstep.
The arts festivals that are an intrinsic part of Fife are also close to hand with the St. Monans and Pittenweem art festivals and the annual festivals at Crail and Anstruther a quick car journey away.
For golfers there is an abundance of links course dotted along the coastline from Elie up to St.Andrews (only 9 miles away).
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee are all a short driving distance away from St. Monans if you are looking to explore more of Scotland.
