'Charming little hotel right on Saratoga Lake. Format is an old-style "tavern on the bottom, small rooms above" configuration. The room was snug and outfitted in a clean, updated Colonial fashion. Didn't give 5 stars for service, not because it was bad, but it was essentially self-check and stay. Lovely to wake up to the lake outside our window. A couple of caveats that might affect your choice. The rooms are small (at least ours was), so don't plan on spreading your stuff out. If you can't...

'This is a lovely older B n B in a beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay here; however by using the codes at front door and room , it felt rather cold not having contact with anyone the entire time we were here. On a positive not; the room was huge, the bath was nice, the quiet, peaceful view out back was nice and the grab and go breakfast was adequate. '
