Breakfast, which you order the evening before, was absolutely delicious and Alison was a fantastic host. The building had a stunning front room for guests to use and was beautifully decorated throughout. Spacious, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. 'Beautiful house with character, host Sinclair was really good on arrival, comfortable room with really comfy chair for sitting whilst doing paperwork later and had an excellent sleep. Breakfast selection was better than any hotel with homemade jams, cooked selections superb.'

'Wonderfull stay in a excellently converted former stable building behing the main house. Perfectly clean and cozy. Best for a solo traveler or couple used to a smaller room. Free parking in the courtyard and just a few minute walk to center of town. Owner was very friendly and offered travel tips.'

'Great location for the Ayr Festival that we were attending. The room was perfect for an overnight stay. We basically used the room to sleep in, so we never used any of the facilities or the restaurant. It would have been good to have a fan or air conditioning as it was very hot during the night '
