Blue Poles is a blue corrugated iron, fully furnished house. The giant wooden poles of Western Australian jarrah were salvaged from Albany's historic deepwater jetty. This combination gives the house its name.
There are 3 large bedrooms - a master bedroom and bathroom upstairs and two large bedrooms (plus extra trundle bed) and bathroom downstairs sleep a total of nine people. There is a spacious games area on the ground floor and separate laundry.
The modern kitchen upstairs adjoins a huge living space that flows out onto a large veranda overlooking a unique stand of coastal karri trees.
The house has reverse cycle air conditioning and the living area features comfortable leather seating, tv, dvd, video and sound system.
There is undercover parking for two cars and a large driveway area suitable for parking a boat or van.
The cost quoted is based on 4 people (see tariff). Extra people incur an additional cost per head. Minimum stay 3 nights.
We built Blue Poles so that when our family and friends were all in the same place at the same time, we would have a lovely, spacious, easy to manage place where we could enjoy each others company.
We hope you will be able to do the same.
