'We loved the location on Half Moon Bay. Very quiet, and good location. Close to restaurants and swimming in the lagoon was perfect.'

'We rented a ground floor, beachfront, one-bedroom unit for a week in Feb ‘25. Best winter vacation decision we ever made! The hotel has it all: one and two bed units with kitchen and living room as well as smaller hotel rooms. Beach bar and restaurant on site. Tour arrangements available. High marks to Tony who helped resolve our rental car problems. We loved our vaca there!!'

'This place is amazing. Every detail is perfect. Location is amazing. Make sure you rent bikes and you can go into Akumal Pueblo and explore- it’s an amazing little town with incredible food. Waking up to the beach every morning was magical. '

'This property was above what we expected. The hosts where great with communication, check in process was simple and when we got in they had a bowl of snacks that my boys instantly grabbed! (It was a great treat!). It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to make our vacation both enjoyable and memorable- we will definitely be back! '

'La Sirena and unit 18 in particular were just what we had hoped for. We had plenty of space inside the unit - the roof patio and screened porch for our snorkel gear and wet things after time at the beach or pool were extra nice. The location in Akumal made it easy for our family to walk to Yal-ku or Akumal beach for snorkeling or to drive to many spots around the peninsula for more adventures. 'The premier place to stay in Akumal! La Sirena #1 is a beautiful 2 room unit, well stocked if you're cooking. ( which we didnt) a great enclosed patio leads you out the the private beach are and, out to the best snorkeling in Half Moon Bay! Also, a short walk or bicycle ride from Ya Ku Lagoon. A great place to spend a day snorkeling in a brackish water lagoon! Don't miss your chance to experience this amazing property yourself!'

'The condo was beautiful, looked as pictured, right on the water, clean, great housekeeping and attention to the grounds. Great location in walking distance to restaurants etc. Our only issue - minimal parking and no response when attempting to contact the number given for the property manager. She should have returned our calls.'

'Just as advertised! i liked that it was inside the gated / manned security gate of Akumal. The condo had a nice breeze throughout the day, and the bedrooms were both roomy and comfortable. I enjoyed the hammock on the patio, and although I did not cook, while I was there, everything was set up in the kitchen that I would’ve needed. The pool was in great condition, and lounge area very comfortable. The onsite restaurant was a definite plus. I definitely recommend this location!'

'Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.'

'Our stay was absolutely beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice! We had 2 children (pre-teens) and six adults ranging from 30's to 60's. The condos location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to half moon bay and Akumal bay! We didnt need a rental car which was great. We did rent a golf cart which was handy for some of us who didn't want to walk everywhere. There were Aa variety of great restaurants and little markets in walking distance.
