« J'ai adoré cet hôtel et notre chambre. On avait des difficultés de trouver notre chambre initialement — l'hôtel est immense et consiste en trois ailes / bâtiments lié(e)s. Mais ceci fait partie de sa charme — il s'agit des bâtiments construits il y a plus que cent ans pour une entreprise d'assurance. Pourtant, le problème principal avec notre chambre était qu'elle n'était pas suffisamment insonorisée du bruit de l'extérieur — et il y en avait beaucoup. « We stayed at Linthwaite House to celebrate my partners birthday, its not so much a hotel as a Art Gallery with its wonderfully tasteful decor and items from the owners private collection. Its location over looking Windermere and landscaped garden it was for us the most fantastic place to relax wonderful food and with staff that couldn't do enough for us truly 5 star for us it was a "Faultless" weekend. »

« My first time at Winckley and it was amazing. I dont think i will stay anywhere else when staying in Preston. The rooms are immaculate and very lovely. Great beds and amenities. Staff were incredible as i was staying in another room the second night with friends who made another booking. The hotel offered to bring my bags into the room for me, and also gave me a free upgrade to move me closer to the second room. Mia was very helpful with all of this, and made the trip so easy. »

« We highly recommend Vince and Shirley’s guesthouse. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, fully equipped, great bedding. The breakfast was very well cooked and generously served, in a pretty dining room overlooking a well kept garden. The guest house is located 15 mn walking distance to the village Center, with an access through a lovely park with a small beach and a great view.
