'This hotel was really beautiful and had a really cool history. The location was perfect for mardigras and exploring the french quarter. Its annoying that they have a fee fkr everything. 20 dollars a day for things that are usually complementary like cold water and hit coffee at the front desk. Also, the water pressure is horrible and its super difficult to get hot water. And the front desk will just tell you its because the building is old and tough, pretty much. Our faucet also leaked really...

'Overall a good stay. All interactions with the staff were friendly and accommodating. The lobby and common areas were nice but the rooms could use a bit of an update/refresh. There was some noisy times of day, but to be expected in a downtown area. We enjoyed the connivence of taking the elevators right into the mall area, which has nice high end stores. Would recommend to anyone looking to be in a safe area still within walking distance to the heart of the French Quarter. '
