'I was only in Chester for one evening and I had stayed at the Abode before. The views from the restaurant are great and my room was a basic room but was very good. Fantastic powerful shower and had great soaps and nice fluffy towels. Soundproofing to outside was also very good. Staff great and very helpful.'

'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'

'We loved our stay at Rowton hall, our room was a master suite with a separate lounge which was great to relax before bed. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from, we had 1 dinner which was very good again plenty of choice. The locations is secluded but only 10 mins from chester centre very handy for shopping or site seeing. We would stay again.'

'Really good central location which offered good value for money. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond when we accidentally left our son’s soft toys behind. Beds comfortable and a well-designed room layout. Only downside was the very worn bathroom area. Flooring reminiscent of a 1980s leisure centre and the toilet door allowed only a little privacy due to very limited frosting. Ok for our family but maybe not for a romantic mini-break! Would recommend. '

'We where disappointed to say the least with the condition of the property and very disappointed with the fact it was a basement apartment ( which was never mentioned) on arrival we found it dirty and dark . We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. As part of my working life I have to conduct risk assessment,s with this in mind this is unacceptable We went out for a walk when we returned we wanted to shower...
