'Stayed in the Iris for 6 nights and it was fantastic, upon arrival the front desk was more than helpful and the English they spoke was great. The room was very good with a very big walk in shower, breakfast was great with a wide range of cakes, buns along with cold meats, cheese, cereal and eggs and bacon upon asking. 'My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!'

'Mogelijk dat wintersporters deze accommodatie kunnen waarderen, maar wij vonden het prut ! Een accommodatie die aan de buitenzijde vele verrotte planken heeft, kunnen wij niet waarderen. De WIFI werkte alleen in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte en dan nog "naast de kachel". Een van ons beiden had gedurende 10 minuten een soort van koude douche en de ander trof pas het warmere water. Misschien was de oorzaak dat wij de enige gasten waren. Dat uitte zich ook in een ontbijt dat op salontafels voor...

'Perfect pick for us, convenient, clean, safe, helpful staff. Helped get a taxi to get to Salerno train station. Breakfast included. Beautiful view of river running thru Campagna. Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives. US bombed Campagna causing deaths to Jews and citizens, but my family realizes it was a stratigic strike. Catacombs under church dating way back. Great Catina there, also pizzaria '
