'Jammer dat het balie personeel, zowel bij in als uitchecken zo onvriendelijk was en omdat het time share appartementen zijn, moesten wij halverwege de week van kamer wisselen, smorgens om 10 uur eruit en de belofte dat we om 13.00u weer op de kamer konden, werd 15.00u, wat ons nors werd medegedeeld, we moesten maar wachten. Het uitzicht was pracntig over de baai.'

'We spent three nights at Mafolie Resort. Due to wind damage, the bar and restaurant were not open all hours. The friendly staff, tried to create options for food and drink. The hotel is a little “rustic”, but we enjoyed everything about it. We never had an issue with parking. As described, the views are phenomenal. This is like a bed and breakfast/ boutique hotel combined. '

'The pool was great. Very tropical set up. Fantastic views. Easily walkable to several restaurants. Big rooms. The downside for folks MAY be the many stairs as this sits on a hill...but thats how you get the beautiful view. We had no problem with stairs but just be aware. Wonderful coffee and tea was served in morning and the host was delightful. '

Taxis are not always available specially on the days there are cruise ships in the bay. The staff at the restaurant, luggage storage is great. 'The property was well laid out. I enjoyed the walk-out beach access that my room offered. My only negatives would be the food at the restaurant and the lack of parking. I ordered a NY strip and shrimp plate. The demi glaze sauce was TOO salty and made the steak inedible and the shrimp were charbroiled to a blackened state for a dish that was not blackened. To improve customer service, I would recommend daily housekeeping service rather than the COVID schedule that many facilities have adopted....

'Positive - Definitely a property with one of the best views on the island and is absolutely gorgeous. The room itself looked nice overall however there were some issues that made it a step down for us. The room was not very clean and we located bugs throughout the kitchen and in the cabinets. The shower head was broken so it only provided a full stream of pressure. The showers also even though warm would never get “hot”. Beach towels were supposed to be provided but were not provided until...
