'Incredible stay! It was an absolute dream. I stayed two nights in the overwater bungalows and it was spacious, confortable and an amazing experience. I got to rent a snorkeling kit for free and go see the corrals, fish and sea turtles that were nearby. The staff was lovely and the environment felt safe. 'A wonderful stay at the Hilton. Our room had everything one could need to make the stay comfortable. Oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave were spotless and it was so good to be able to have a proper kitchen with dishes, cutlery and cooking equipment. 'Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine.'

'Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...

'Very peaceful. Friendly couple. Lady speaks English. Off the beaten track. Last bit 1.5 km dirt road and very steep entrance path. Use 1st gear to get up. Hard to find. No signage on entrance to dirt road.'
