'The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the loud music that was playing outside on the nearby restaurant terrace. It only stoped at 3:00 am in the morning. Unacceptable. I understand that it’s not the hotel’s fault but something must be done about changing municipalities regulations. Thank you for otherwise a great stay! '

'You must expect a dated (but historical) property; but the service is exceptional. Huge menu choice. Some room aspects a little dated (& tired to be honest), but what humans usually like about anything is character. This place has character & worth visiting, even for only 1 or 2 nights. Unless on business, I'd say Craiova is just a stopover point. Be prepared for challenges with roads (on satnav/GPS).'

'Station at Craiova away from centre, so do you stay near centre or station, if coming by train? The Rexton dolves that oroblem by being half way. Also quite close to the tram route.'

'This was a father/daughter run guesthouse and they were very accommodating. The rooms are good sized and very clean with everything needed for a good stay, including tea, coffee and bottled water. There is no elevator but they graciously helped bring our suitcases upstairs. The breakfast (included) was excellent. This was more like staying with friends at their house.'

'Safe location, perfect cleanliness, friendly staff, large parking lot. Poor breakfast, poor soundproofing, bad sewage smell in the bathroom.'

'The room was way too small for 3 people (three beds room) Bathroom was in need of repair - shower enclosure faulty and black mould. Beds were from the communist era with pointy springs digging into your back so you stay vigilant.'

'Hotellet var var fint og har bra med parkerings muligheter. Rommet var stort og spesielt badet var fint. Stor og behagelig dusj. Mye tv kanaler. Wifi var noe treg da jeg skulle se på nettflix. Restauranten stenger ganske tidlig. Var stengt da jeg kom i 19:00 tida. Frokost har veldig begrenset utvalg. Har et kjøpesenter i nærheten som stenger 22:00 '

'Excellent hotel situated in the outskirts of Craiova. Large, clean and modern rooms. Friendly staff familiar with giving excellent service to guests. Situated next to a main road and with free parking on the premises, makes this hotel easy to acccess for travellers. The reception gladly provides you with a taxi to the city centre. It’s a cheap and convenient trip that takes 5-10 minutes and costs the equivalent to €2-3. And if you’re looking for a top dining at a reasonable price a taxi to Epoca...
