'I love this place. It’s affordable, comfortable, quiet, quant, and a great launch off place for adventures around the Smokies. This is our second time here and we already want to go back. Also, you can bring your dog. My dog Shadow loves coming and staring from the deck to look for squirrels. The best part is the hot tub. 'Beautiful lodge and property. I was looking for something tucked in the mountains that would accomodate my dog. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Mountain cabin was clean and very comfortable. Got some.nreakfsst sandwiches in the morning, amd the biscuits were delicious. There are also miles of hiking trails on and near the property, and a gorgeous river. '

'Beautiful lodge in a beautiful, quiet setting, with attentive,friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent. The restaurant cozy, romantic atmosphere with a nice view of the mountains. Only issue was upstairs lodge room was hot, one of the windows didn’t work and made sleeping uncomfortable. I’d stayed there before in a cottage which was much better without the temperature issues, so I’d stay there again, but choose a cottage instead of a lodge room. 'I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. 'We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the cabin was comfortable, however the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty dated and stained. And the floor in the kitchen was sticky. All in all we enjoyed our stay and realize the difficulty of maintenance with multiple guest, so a different floor type could be considered besides carpet. '

'Loved the paved road leading to the property. Great location for what I was doing, close to hikes and scenic spots. No detergent or shampoo was a minor inconvenience, but everything else was good.'
