this is NOT a hotel
The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the location is great. That's all the positive I can think of.
The beds are very small, probably because the room is too small to fit a normal size bed. It was difficult to unpack my suitcase because there is no space to put it besides the bed. That is also the only pace to put yourself so.... difficult.
The shower is in the toilet. Need to turn the heater on 15 minutes before taking a shower to get 2 minutes of hot water.
The TV's are too small to watch (4 channels).
There is internet but it was out while I was there.
There is aircon but only has 2 levels: on or off, so it's either hot or cold.
The aircon is hanging from the window, so to let the air flow in they've cut a hole in the curtain. Smart(?) but the downside is that the room is light as soon as the sun is up. Not nice when you have a jet lag.
Basically, this place is in an apartment building and consists of some remodeled apartments. Each apartment now being approx 6 rooms. As in an apartment, you will ofcourse hear everyone going in and out of it. Maybe no problem during the day but unpleasant during the night.
So, if you're looking for a place to crash and no more than that (absolutely NO more): go here! The location is great.
If you intend to spend some time in your room working, eating, relaxing, anything! Go somewhere else. It is not possible here.
As the name says: Rent-a-Room. That's what it is.
I just think it should not be on Hotels.com because it is not a hotel.
